Wavecrest Cafe is trying to minimise the impact on the environment!

Wavecrest Café at Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain, has been selling food and drinks to customers since the 1930s. In 2017 the Café was renovated, bringing the building back to its former glory using local tradesmen and traditional methods.

Wavecrest is perched on the cliff overlookingLizard Point, the Atlantic Ocean and English Channel, and as such it seems only right that we do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment.

This year we have introduced paper straws, biodegradable cartons and wooden cutlery for take away food and a food waste bin which will work alongside our existing recycling bins.

We source much of our produce locally and make all our food fresh to order. For more information about our café and ethos, please visit www.wavecrestcornwall.co.uk.

We look forward to welcoming you.
