The Watch House are ditching plastic straws

Busy seafood restaurant The Watch House, has become a magnet for locals and tourists due to its freshly cooked food and light and airy surroundings.  Nestled on the harbourside in St Mawes, it’s aim is to serve the freshest, simply cooked local seafood. The Watch House is renowned for it’s MSC certified fish with hand cut, twice-cooked chips – considered to the best in Cornwall.  Guests can buy the fish and chips in the restaurant or from the take-away hatch next door. Perfect for taking down to the beach to eat.

The Watch House has been inspired to be part of the Final Straw campaign by ditching our plastic straws.

We need to keep our beaches clean, and in a small way this helps towards that goal.
